Ingredients/Components

  • olive oil - 4 oz
  • bay leaves - 3 item
  • tomatoes - 1/2 lb
  • garlic as desired - 1 item
  • pinch of pepper - 1 item
  • spring onions - 1 lb
  • salt as desired - 1 item
  • veal stew - 2 lb

How to make veal stew:

Wash and peel onions. Cut veal stew into pieces. Combine veal and onions in a casserole dish. Add salt, bay leaves, pepper, olive oil, peeled and chopped tomatoes, garlic and enough water to cover. Cook, covered. Stew for about one hour over low heat.

When veal is done, remove lid and allow any excess of water to evaporate to the desired gravy thickness. Serves 4 to 6 persons.
