  • sugar - 2 c
  • pkg - 1 1/2
  • milk - 4 c
  • water - 1 c
  • can evaporated milk - 1 oz

How to make vanilla ice cream:

Mix all ingredients together in ice cream churn. (Half and half may be substituted for some of the milk for a creamier ice cream.) Add enough milk to fill to 1 gallon line. Churn and enjoy!

Variation: Add 1 quart mashed fruit of your choice.
