- chopped nuts - 1 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
How to make toffee:
Butter a 9 x 9-inch pan. Pour in and spread evenly a cup of chopped nuts. In a saucepan, let butter and brown sugar boil for 7 minutes. Pour over nuts in pan and top with a few chocolate chips and nuts. Press down firmly with a piece of foil. Chill and break into chunks.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Candy.
