  • eggs - 4 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pecans - 7 oz
  • light syrup - 1 c
  • melted oleo - 3 Tbsp
  • dark rum

How to make texas pecan pie:

Beat eggs lightly. Add sugar, syrup and oleo, mixing to blend. Do not overbeat. Stir in rum and pecans. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until filling is golden and firm to light touch.
