  • eggs - 6 item
  • butter or margarine - 1 lb
  • flour - 4 c
  • baking powder
  • white raisins - 2 c
  • whole pecans - 4 c
  • bottle lemon extract - 1 oz

How to make texas pecan cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and lemon extract. Add flour to raisins and nuts. Add to mixture. Bake 2 hours at 275° in a tube pan or a 10 x 14-inch loaf pan. Line pan with paper.
