Texas brownies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1/4 c
• flour - 2 c
• stick margarine - 1 item
• water - 1 c
• cocoa - 1/4 c
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• powdered sugar
• 1 stick margarine

How to make texas brownies:

Frosting:1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine2 Tbsp. cocoa1/4 c. milk3 1/2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla In a bowl, combine flour and sugar. In saucepan, combine butter, shortening, water and cocoa. Stir and bring to a boil. Pour boiling mixture over flour and sugar. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Mix. Pour into buttered pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. While brownies bake, prepare frosting.

In saucepan, combine butter, cocoa and milk. Heat to boiling, stirring. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour warm frosting over brownies as soon as you take them out of the oven.
