Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- sweet milk - 3 Tbsp
How to make tea cakes:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Work in enough additional flour to form dough that can be handled easily. Roll very thin and cut with biscuit or cookie cutter. Bake at 375° until lightly browned, 10 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Coffee cakes.
