  • can pineapple tidbits - 1 item
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cocktail peanuts
  • red and 1 green apple - 1 item
  • Cool Whip - 8 oz

How to make taffy apple salad:

Drain pineapple; save juice. Mix pineapple and marshmallows and chill overnight. Beat egg. Add juice, flour, vinegar and sugar. Cook until thickened; chill overnight.

Next day: Dice apples (do not peel). Mix with peanuts, pineapple mixture and egg mixture. Fold in Cool Whip. Chill until served. Serves 10.
