  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • Cool Whip - 8 oz
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • large can crushed pineapple, drained save juice - 1 item
  • apples, chopped unpeeled - 2 item
  • Spanish nuts, chopped fine - 1 c

How to make taffy apple salad:

Mix pineapple with marshmallows; set aside. Blend together flour, vinegar, egg, sugar and juice. Cook over medium heat until thickened; cool. Core and chop apples; add to pineapple and marshmallows. Add sauce and nuts. Fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
