- ground beef - 2 lb
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- bag Doritos, crushed plain or taco - 1 (10
- can Cheddar cheese soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- jar taco sauce - 1 oz
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
How to make taco casserole:
Brown beef and onion (do not season this); drain fat. Pour Doritos in 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread beef on Doritos; set aside. In saucepan mix and heat to boiling soups and taco sauce. Pour this over beef. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. You can refrigerate this overnight and bake next day or divide into 2 (8 x 8-inch) pans. Bake one and freeze one for later.
