Taco burgers
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 3/4 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- shredded lettuce - 2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded American cheese - 1 c
- hamburger buns, split and toasted - 8 item
- can tomatoes, cut fine - 1 oz
How to make taco burgers:
In skillet, brown ground beef and drain fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, pepper and dry mustard. Bring to boil and reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until thickened (15 to 20 minutes). Spoon meat mixture onto toasted buns. Sprinkle each burger with lettuce and cheese. Can add sliced or chopped tomatoes.In memory of Shirley Holder.
