  • salt - 2 Tbsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • fat - 3 Tbsp
  • chuck roast - 2 lb
  • canned tomatoes - 1 c

How to make swiss steak:

Mix flour, salt and pepper. Pound into steak. Brown meat and onion in hot fat. Add tomatoes. Cover and cook over low heat or in oven for 1 1/2 hours.
