Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- fat - 3 Tbsp
- chuck roast - 2 lb
- canned tomatoes - 1 c
How to make swiss steak:
Mix flour, salt and pepper. Pound into steak. Brown meat and onion in hot fat. Add tomatoes. Cover and cook over low heat or in oven for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
