Swiss chicken
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- 4 oz - 1 c
- medium onions, sliced - 3 item
- boneless chicken breasts - 4 item
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1 c
- can condensed tomato soup - 1 3/4
- dried basil leaves, crushed - 1/4 tsp
How to make swiss chicken:
Coat chicken breasts with flour and dip in eggs. Coat with combined bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Brown chicken on all sides in hot oil. Place in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish. Saute onions in remaining oil in skillet and stir in remaining ingredients except Swiss cheese. Pour over chicken and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
