Sweet potato souffle
Ingredients/Components
- mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten well - 2 item
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- stick margarine - 3/4 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- drained crushed pineapple - 1 c
- packed brown sugar
- stick margarine, melted - 1/2 item
- flour - 1/3 c
- chopped nuts pecans - 1 c
How to make sweet potato souffle:
Topping:1 c. packed brown sugar1/2 stick margarine, melted1/3 c. flour1 c. chopped nuts (pecans) Boil potatoes, peeled, until tender. Mash potatoes and mix remaining ingredients well. Pour into greased baking dish.Mix topping ingredients together. Cover the potatoes in the baking dish with the topping and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
