  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • oil
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts, chopped - 1 c
  • chopped apples - 3 c
  • eggs, beaten well - 3 item
  • coconut optional - 1 c
  • Add vanilla, sugar, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg

How to make delicious apple cake:

Beat well the oil and eggs. Add vanilla, sugar, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix apples, 1/4 cup flour, nuts and coconut and fold into batter. Pour into greased 9-inch tube pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for approximately 70 minutes, or bake in 9 x 13-inch cake pan for 40 to 45 minutes.Topping:1/3 c. butter1 c. brown sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. milk Mix topping ingredients in saucepan and boil 2 to 3 minutes. Pour hot topping over cake about 5 minutes after removing cake from oven.
