Ingredients/Components

  • sweet potatoes about 4 large ones - 3 c
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk
  • light brown sugar - 1 c
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • chopped pecans - 1 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Boil and mash potatoes. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Place in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.Topping:1/3 c. melted butter1 c. light brown sugar1/2 c. flour1 c. chopped pecans Melt butter and mix in remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
