Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- softened butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 3/4 compressed
How to make sweet buns:
Soak together the yeast, 1/2 cup warm water and 1/4 cup sugar. Add the remaining ingredients. Let rise. Using flour on a board, form into round, flat buns (sandwich meat size). Let rise again on the pans. Bake at 350° until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Finnish.
