Sweet and sour meatballs



  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cold water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • lean ground beef
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
  • currant or grape jelly - 1/3 c
  • jar sweet and sour sauce
  • chopped onion or 1 tsp - 1/4 1/2

How to make sweet and sour meatballs:

For Sauce:9 1/2 oz. jar sweet and sour sauce1/2 c. cold water1/3 c. currant or grape jelly1 tsp. dry mustard Mix all ingredients together and form balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet (sprayed with Pam). Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

In a large saucepan, put sauce ingredients and heat until boiling. Add cooked meatballs and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve over rice.
