Swedish meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- fine bread crumbs - 2/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pickle relish - 1 2
- oil or Crisco for browning - 1 Tbsp
How to make swedish meatballs:
Blend soup with 1/2 can water. Measure out 1/4 cup of mixture and combine with beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley and salt. Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Brown in hot oil or Crisco, then add remaining soup mixture and relish. Cover and cook over low heat about 20 minutes, stir occasionally. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Ground beef, Beef.
