Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • hot water - 1 bouillon
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can chicken and rice soup - 1 item
  • beef, 1/4 lb - 1/2 lb
  • Gravy: pan juice

How to make swedish meatballs:

Gravy: pan juice1 can tomato soup1 can chicken and rice soup1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water Melt butter and saute onions until golden. Soak bread crumbs in milk. Add meat, egg, onion, salt and pepper and mix until smooth. Fry in butter (use your own idea for amount of butter) until evenly browned. Add to gravy and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Great for cookouts!!!

Gravy: Add water to clear skillet after frying meatballs; save juice. Combine this juice with tomato soup, chicken and rice soup and bouillon.
