Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/8 c
- coconut - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple - 20 oz
- ground almonds - 2 oz
- small container Cool Whip - 1 item
- instant vanilla pudding
- yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix - 1 item
How to make sunshine cake:
Bake cake. While cake is baking, mix pineapple and sugar together. Poke holes in hot cake (generously) and pour pineapple mixture over cake. Refrigerate until cool. Make pudding and add coconut to pudding. Pour over cooled cake. Mix almonds with Cool Whip and spread on cake. Keep cake refrigerated!Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Comfort food.
