Sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla
• salt - 1/3 tsp
• butter - 1/2 c
• baking powder
• egg - 1 item
• cream - 1 Tbsp
• flour or less - 2 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Blend 1 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter; beat in sugar. Beat in egg, vanilla and cream. Stir in flour. Wrap in wax paper. Chill several hours. Place on a lightly floured board. Roll to about 1/8-inch thick; use floured cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet; sprinkle with sugar. Bake about 8 minutes in a 375° oven.
