Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- cup sugar - 1 item
- cups sifted flour - 3 item
- cup soft shortening - 1 item
- eggs well beaten - 2 item
How to make sugar cookies:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs, vanilla, and salt. Sift flour, soda, baking powder. Roll into balls. Drop in sugar and press down with a glass dipped in sugar.Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees.
