- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
How to make sugar cookies:
Mix shortening and eggs. Add rest. You can chill dough or roll in flour immediately to cook. Bake at 375° for 10 or 11 minutes, until lightly browned around edges. Cover with icing or roll in sugar and cinnamon before cooking.From Mattie Massie.
