Sugar coated pecans

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• sour cream - 1/2 c
• pecan halves - 4 c

How to make sugar coated pecans:

Mix sugar and sour cream in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat to 223°, using a candy thermometer. Add vanilla and pecans. Stir quickly to coat pecans. Spread on wax paper to cool. Store in airtight containers.
