- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- pecan halves - 4 c
How to make sugar coated pecans:
Mix sugar and sour cream in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat to 223°, using a candy thermometer. Add vanilla and pecans. Stir quickly to coat pecans. Spread on wax paper to cool. Store in airtight containers.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Appetizers, Seasonal.
