Ingredients/Components

  • margarine - 1 c
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • poultry seasoning - 1 tsp
  • finely minced onion - 1 c
  • finely minced celery - 1 c
  • crumbled day old bread - 2 qt
  • salt more or less as desired - 1/2 tsp
  • parsley f desired - 1/2 c

How to make stuffing:

In a large skillet, melt margarine and saute the onion and celery until light yellow. Add bread crumbs and remaining ingredients. Toss lightly with a fork to mix. Makes enough stuffing for a small turkey, 8 pounds. Use half for a roasting chicken.
