Stuffed shells
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- Ricotta cheese - 2 lb
- grated Romano cheese - 1/4 c
- cracker meal - 2 Tbsp
- sauce - 1 item
- frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained - 1 pkg
- boxes shells approximately 60 - 2 item
How to make stuffed shells:
Parboil shells and rinse with cool water. Drain spinach completely. Mix ingredients together with the spinach. Using a tablespoon, stuff each shell, placing shells on wax paper as you go along. Flash freeze shells for 2 to 3 hours. Store in Ziploc bag in freezer. From freezer, place shells in a pan. Do not let shells touch each other. Cover each shell with sauce. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Great to do ahead for parties!Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta shells.
