Stuffed shells
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- Ricotta cheese - 32 oz
- jar spaghetti sauce - 32 oz
How to make stuffed shells:
Prepare pasta as directed on package, cooking only 9 minutes; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain. Set aside. Mix together cheeses, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and parsley. Fill cooked shells with cheese mixture. Cover bottom of baking dish with some of spaghetti sauce. Arrange filled shells in single layer in baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over shells and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta shells.
