Baked spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 12 oz
- water - 1/4 c
- oleo - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- oregano - 2 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- can mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 1 item
- can sliced ripe olives - 1 item
How to make baked spaghetti:
In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender; add tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and oregano. Add ground beef. Place half of cooked spaghetti in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Top with half of vegetable mixture. Sprinkle 1 cup Cheddar cheese over this. Repeat layers. Mix soup and water until smooth. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Spaghetti.
