Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 tsp
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 item
- apples - 1 item
- chutney - 4 tsp
- acorn squash - 1 item
How to make stuffed acorn squash:
Peel, quarter, core and boil squash in salted water until tender; drain. Season with brown sugar and paprika. Bake apple quarters in covered baking dish in a 325° oven with two tablespoons of butter or oleo. Place 1/4 apples in each 1/4 squash. Pour over each 1 teaspoon chutney. Heat in 400° oven (1 squash and 1 apple = 4 servings).Recipe categories: American, Vegetables, Main dish.
