Strawberry-rhubarb crisp
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- oats - 1 c
- strawberries, halved - 2 pt
- rhubarb slices - 1 c
How to make strawberry-rhubarb crisp:
Combine sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Add to combined fruit and lemon juice; toss lightly. Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish. Combine oats, brown sugar and flour; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. Bake at 375° for 55 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
