Strawberry pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 tsp

- boiling water - 2 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 3/4 c
- cream cheese, softened
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
- carton Cool Whip, thawed - 1 oz
- strawberries, cleaned and sliced - 1 qt
How to make strawberry pretzel salad:
Filling:8 oz. cream cheese, softened1 c. sugar1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed Topping:6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello2 c. boiling water1 qt. strawberries, cleaned and sliced Mix pretzels and sugar with melted butter. Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool.Blend filling ingredients together and spread on cooled crust. Refrigerate. Mix jello with boiling water. Add strawberries and spread on cooled crust. Refrigerate until set.
Two 11 ounce packages of frozen strawberries may be used in place of fresh ones.
