Strawberry crunch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- egg whites - 2 item
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- whipping cream, whipped - 1 c
- frozen strawberries - 10 oz
How to make strawberry crunch:
Crunch: In a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, mix flour, brown sugar, nuts and melted butter. Bake at 350° for approximately 15 minutes. Stir often; set aside.Filling: Beat egg whites until firm. Add 1 cup sugar, thawed strawberries, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat 20 minutes at high speed. Add whipping cream (whipped) and fold into filling mixture with spoon. Pour on top of crunch. Freeze for 6 hours. Serves 15 or more.
