- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 4 item
- stick margarine - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
- powdered sugar for garnish - 1 item
How to make st. louis gooey butter cake:
Mix together and press into 9 x 13-inch pan the cake mix, margarine and 2 eggs. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 eggs. Pour over top of cake mixture. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Breads, American, Midwestern u.s..
