Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- poultry seasoning to taste - 1 item
- or more squash, cooked, drained and mashed - 2 c
- cornbread, mixed, baked and crumbled - 1 pkg
How to make squash dressing:
Saute vegetables in oleo. Add vegetables and squash to crumbs. Add cream of chicken soup. Add 1 cup water. Add 1 beaten egg, salt and poultry seasoning to taste. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan (greased) 30 minutes at 350°. Option: Sprinkle gratedRecipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make, Side dish.
