  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • olive oil - 3/4 c
  • grated onion - 1 tsp
  • garlic clove - 1 item
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • sliced mushrooms - 1 c
  • vinegar or lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • can sliced water chestnuts optional - 1 item
  • fresh spinach, stems removed - 1 pkg
  • medium sliced red or sweet onion - 1 item
  • toasted slivered almonds added last - 1/3 c
  • Add enough dressing to coat leaves
