Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/3 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 4 item
  • fresh spinach, cleaned - 1 pkg
  • crisp bacon, crumbled - 1/2 lb
  • oil canola or olive

How to make spinach salad:

Dressing:1 c. oil (canola or olive)1/2 c. catsup3/4 c. sugar1/3 c. vinegar1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce dash of salt Toss spinach, eggs and bacon in large bowl. Mix dressing ingredients and let sit until ready to serve salad. Add just enough dressing to wet spinach, the rest can be refrigerated for later use. To save time, you could use Catalina dressing.
