Spinach cheese pie
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- cream - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese, grated - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell baked - 1 item
How to make spinach cheese pie:
Cook spinach as directed on package and drain. In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and gradually stir in flour. When it thickens, stir in cream. Add 1/2 of the cheese and stir until melted. Fold in spinach, salt and pepper. Pour into baked pie shell. Sprinkle remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Side dish, Vegetables.
