Spicy creole sauce
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- cayenne pepper - 1 Tbsp
- clam juice - 1 item
- garlic cloves - 4 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1/4 item
- shrimp or crabmeat - 1 lb
How to make spicy creole sauce:
Cut shrimp or crabmeat into pieces. Saute in olive oil, butter and garlic. Add cayenne pepper, paprika and flour until a paste consistency. Stir in clam juice until mixture makes a semi-thick gravy. Serve over fish, chicken or rice.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
