Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1/4 c
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • cayenne pepper - 1 Tbsp
  • clam juice - 1 item
  • garlic cloves - 4 item
  • stick butter or margarine - 1/4 item
  • shrimp or crabmeat - 1 lb

How to make spicy creole sauce:

Cut shrimp or crabmeat into pieces. Saute in olive oil, butter and garlic. Add cayenne pepper, paprika and flour until a paste consistency. Stir in clam juice until mixture makes a semi-thick gravy. Serve over fish, chicken or rice.
