Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- honey - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 3 Tbsp
- catsup - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- large green pepper - 1 item
- onion - 1 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- beef stock
- cumin - 1 tsp
- garlic - 1 Tbsp
- spareribs - 4 lb
- soya sauce - 3 Tbsp
- meat
- chili pods - 2 item
- hot chicken broth or bouillon - 1 c
How to make texas chili:
Mix the ingredients and soak the ribs in this mixture for 2 hours. Then bake in oven at 300° for 2 or 3 hours. Baste every now and then with the sauce. If the ribs are fatty, drop them in boiling water for about 5 minutes before marinating, then proceed as directed. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
