Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- chopped or coarsely ground peeled pears about 5 1/2 lb - 8 c
How to make spiced pear jam:
Combine all ingredients in a large kettle. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until thick, stirring occasionally. Stir more frequently as mixture thickens.
