Ingredients/Components

  • cans French cut green beans - 3 item
  • bacon drippings - 6 Tbsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • cans sliced water chestnuts - 2 oz
  • cans French fried onions - 2 item
  • medium onions, quartered - 2 item
  • dried minced garlic - 1 Tbsp
  • can mushrooms - 8 oz
  • jar Cheez Whiz - 16 oz

How to make special green bean casserole:

Mix first 7 ingredients and start on high heat. Turn to low heat and cook for at least 1 hour; drain well. Stir in Cheez Whiz. Put in baking dish and top with French fried onions. Bake until bubbly at 325°. Serves 10.
