Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- medium chopped onion - 1 item
- rice - 2/3 c
- tomato soup - 1 item
How to make spanish rice:
Steam rice; melt butter in saucepan. Saute onion; add beef and brown, then drain. Season with salt and paprika. Place in greased baking dish 1/3 of rice and 1/2 of meat. Sprinkle over half of celery and pepper. Repeat process. Place last of rice on top. Pour tomato soup over all. Cover and bake at 375° for 1/2 hour.
