Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • pkg - 2/3 oz
  • salt
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • Mozzarella cheese - 16 oz
  • small green pepper, diced - 1 item
  • small onion, diced - 1 item
  • Ricotta cheese - 15 oz
  • pepperoni - 1/2 lb
  • Italian sausage - 1/2 lb
  • crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • can tomatoes - 1 oz
  • thyme
  • some sharp cheese - 1 item
  • can mushrooms 1 c - 1 oz

How to make lasagna:

Cook beef, onion and pepper (saute). Add mushrooms, pepperoni, Italian sausage and spices. Heat tomatoes and tomato paste until boiling and add meat mixture to it. Let simmer 30 minutes on low heat. Discard bay leaves. Cook noodles according to directions and drain. Preheat oven to 375°. Combine cheeses and eggs. Spray with Pam a 13 x 9-inch baking dish (deep). Layer noodles first, then meat sauce, then cheeses until all are used, topping with cheeses. Bake for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10 large servings.
