Ingredients/Components
- spaghetti - 1 lb
- salt and freshly ground pepper - 1 item
- extra virgin olive oil - 1/4 c
- can Italian peeled tomatoes * - 1 oz
- medium garlic cloves, peeled and then sliced - 10 item
How to make spaghetti marinara:
*Can substitute canned tomatoes with 3 pounds ripe plum (Roma) tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. If using canned tomatoes, empty the tomatoes with the juice into a large bowl. Remove and discard the steRecipe categories: Main dish, Mussels, Shrimp.
