Spaghetti and meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1 Tbsp
- hamburger meat - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- olive oil - 1 2
- basil leaves - 1 2
- garlic clove - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- small cans tomato paste - 2 item
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- water depends on how thick you want your sauce - 1 c
- Drain excess oil
- slices bread for bread crumbs remove edges - 2 item
How to make spaghetti and meatballs:
Brown hamburger meat and diced onion in olive oil. Drain excess oil. Add cut up tomatoes, tomato paste and water (may need more or less water). Then add sugar, salt, basil leaves and garlic. Let sauce come to a boil; turn down on low to simmer and add meatballs.Meatballs:1 lb. hamburger meat1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese1 Tbsp. olive oil2 slices bread for bread crumbs (remove edges) salt and pepper to taste1 egg, well beaten Mix all ingredients except olive oil. Shape into meatballs and brown in olive oil. Let drain on paper towel, then add to sauce. Cook for 1 hour (at least).
