Southern pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- light corn syrup - 3/4 c
- butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
- 9 inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Mix slightly beaten egg, sugar, syrup and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle nuts on top and pat down. Pour melted butter over nuts. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until mixture is set.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
