Southern pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• eggs, beaten - 3 item
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• melted butter - 1/3 c
• dark brown sugar - 1 c
• white corn syrup - 1 c
• dash of vanilla - 1 item
• broken shelled pecans

How to make southern pecan pie:

Mix ingredients well. Pour into an unbaked 9-inch pastry pie shell. Bake at 350° for 45 or 50 minutes. Cool and top with whipped cream or ice cream or serve plain.
