Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- warm water
- bread flour - 6 c
- starter - 1 c
How to make sourdough bread:
Mix sugar, oil, salt and warm water; mix well. Add flour to make dough pliable. Grease bowl; cover lightly with Saran Wrap. Let stand overnight to rise. Do not put in refrigerator. Divide into 3 parts; knead and place in loaf pans. Let rise and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Brush with butter; let cool and wrap.Recipe categories: Breads, Yeast breads, Sourdough breads.
