Sourdough biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 6 c
- water - 1 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Dissolve 1 cup warm water with yeast. In large bowl mix buttermilk, oil, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Add yeast mixture. Stir in flour 1 cup at a time until dough will knead without being sticky. Roll out and cut biscuits. Let raise. Bake at 350° until brown.
